Trial 1, and Scheduling Like Nobody's Business

A somewhat belated THANKS to everyone who braved the cold, the hard ground and the threat of snow a couple of weeks ago to come out to our first session. The vagaries of the weather and crowded ultimate calendar have conspired against our mooted second session next week, but/and we are in touch with all triallists about the selection process and most importantly getting the meat of the season's practices scheduled at convenient times.

We're still planning on another open, trial-type session, but are not going to be holding this full team session until late March, or April. So there's still time to get involved! If you're interested then get in touch with us at cantab dot oxon at gmail dot com. We will send you the scheduling form as well as add you to the email list of interested people, because through Feb and March that same list will be the vehicle for communicating information about workouts, small sided drills you can do locally with a few buddies, and so on.

Those of you who're planning on coming to trials should have got an email from us confirming the details... we are psyched to see you all this weekend!

T minus three days for the new team's first season. Woo!

Open Tryouts: Feb 4th, Oxford

Exact time and place TBD, but expect a full afternoon (12-4p) of skills, drills, and running hard in games.

Trials are open to all (women) who have an interest in checking out the team!

Welcome to the website/blog for Cambridge-Oxford women's ultimate.  New team, new blog, with not too much information on it yet; but this is just the beginning. We'll also have a real (better) team name at some point.
 
We're in the process of finalizing details for tryouts in the new year, but we'll be looking for women of all levels who are excited to play at a competitive level, whether you're a rising star or a seasoned veteran- or anything in between. We'll be holding tryouts early in the new year, and planning our season around the UK Tour calendar.
